1) QKD (Quantum Key Distribution System)
- Traditional methods of key distribution for encrypting data use public key cryptography, based on complex mathematical one-way functions. These one-way functions are easy to calculate in one direction but require much more time (of the order of few thousand years) to reverse them, by conventional computers.
- Unlike traditional cryptographic techniques (where security is based on unproven mathematical assumptions), the security of quantum cryptography is based on the laws of physics. The security of quantum key distribution depends on the fundamental principles of nature on which infinite computational power, new attack algorithms and the arrival of quantum computers will not matter. Information is encoded in quantum states or Q-bits by quantum communication. Q-bits cannot be cloned or measured without including detectable anomalies.

II) OSL Reader
- OSL reader is a light leakage free, precisely fabricated mechanical assembly, that houses ultra-fast and ultra-sensitive SEEKER detection module with detection filter basket, Light stimulation assemblies (four) diagonally placed around detector module inside the cylindrical enclosure.
- Light source can be of following wavelengths: 460-470nm or 520 – 535 nm or both based on the sample to be irradiated. The electronic circuits built-in provides constant current drive to each of the LED clusters with power control, to vary the luminous intensity. Proper heat sink and optical feedback should be present to ensure the stable light output. The output power density at the badge reader should be nearly 80 mW/cm2.

8) Motion Control
Manual Translation Stages are used to provide varying degrees of movement to mounted optical components for a range of optical applications .
